LEIGH MONTERAC | SOFTGOODS AND TECHNICAL APPAREL DESIGNER

I’m a product designer with a background in softgoods, materials development, and building thoughtful solutions for outdoor and lifestyle brands. I have worked across the full design process, from research and concepting to prototyping and production, while partnering closely with materials, marketing, and development teams to bring ideas to life responsibly. Much of my work centers on durability, function, and creating products that hold up to real use. I am also drawn to projects that build community through collaborations, events, and mission-driven initiatives. My approach is straightforward: understand the need, design with intention, and create work that is practical and considered.

I’m based in Colorado, and I’m happiest in the mountains, especially on skis. I’m currently teaching myself the fiddle and experimenting with sourdough. I’m a Court Appointed Special Advocate, a sewing machine collector, and corgi wrangler.
